The Denver Rock Island Railroad is a privately owned and operated short line railroad founded in 1993. From our three terminal switching yards in the Denver metro area, we provide dependable freight service five days a week. We interchange rail cars with both Union Pacific and BNSF Railway, giving our customers seamless access to the national freight network — with the flexibility and personal service only a short line can offer.
